1. Stop watching/reading/listening to the news. Mainstream media makes a big deal out of EVERYTHING, and almost everything they make a big deal out of is either negative or superficial and is already mostly irrelevant by the time it reaches you. If you're going to make a big deal out of something, make a big deal out of the things that are important to YOU!
2. It doesn't matter one iota what tools you use, it's what comes out of the speakers that's important.
